Can You Handle the Downsides of Being a Running Beast?
(scroll to bottom for giveaway)
That's what Pearl Izumi wants to know.
Have you tried the Project E: Motion footwear line? I have not but after watching this video, I think I may need to.
It's actually a pretty funny video too :)
They have created a running shoe that is not only light, but incredibly comfortable - actually propelling you forward with each step. You can run faster with ease, but as the video jokes, there are some downsides of being a more efficient runner.
Have you ever had to break up with a slower runner? Unfortunately I have not, but this made me laugh anyway!
Or worst of all, having to perform CPR on your dog who couldn't manage to keep up with your new, speedy pace.
The videos are exaggerated and fun but the new design is no joke. Get ready for the smoothest running experience. At least that what they say.
The Project E:Motion line is a plush ride in a killer design - created to provide you with the smoothest running experience possible.
Disclosure: Pearl Izumi has offer this giveaway prize for this post.

Haha I actually have had to break up with a running partner who couldn't keep up for the faster runs!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks... but it happens... I have been the one on the other end... but it is better for both people :) in the end.
DeleteThose videos are great!!
ReplyDelete:) They are cute
DeleteLove the videos. I would have to be the dumpee because I am totally not a fast runner!
ReplyDeleteI have been the dumpee... lol... but I was better for it. :)
DeleteFunny - I watched the breakup one. Oooh geeze, to be dumped via post-it note! ha
ReplyDeleteyep... that would not be good!
DeleteHahah love those, one of the reasons I DONT run with other people all the time is because everyone is different paces. You can't let someone slow you down on a workout day, or make you go faster when you should be recovering.
ReplyDeleteLaura, that is so true! And we all have to remember that just bc someone doesn't want to run with you doesn't mean that they aren't our friend :) LOL
DeleteI watched then both, enjoyed them!
ReplyDeleteCarie Vercelli
Good! Glad you liked them... I thought they were cute!
DeleteDefinitely made me laugh! Totally caught me off guard in the first video with the sudden shift from the serious guy to the annoyed woman! Funny....like you, I'd love to give it a try1
ReplyDeleteThey looks pretty awesome! I have heard others talk of them and rave!
DeleteFunny! The gut doing the "interviews" was pretty funny. Do you thinks it's your shorts..lol
ReplyDeleteI liked him too! It was really cute :)
DeleteFortunately, I've never had to dump or been dumped, but that's probably only because I rarely run with other people. I prefer to run alone, with my iPod drowning out the world.
ReplyDeleteThat's my kind of running... :)
DeleteThe Project E Motion video was very fascinating...so cool that the shape/make of the shoe can determine the comfort and stride and thus causing the person to be able to take more strides since there's less effort put into it.
ReplyDeleteI agree... Looks really cool!
DeleteI breakup video was funny. I have a slower running buddy that I just can't break up with. So I've changed my running running schedule to make my easy run of the week with her.
ReplyDeleteBreaking up is hard to do. :)
So true! you are winning for the Polar right now in the DietBet... Keep it up!!! :)
Deleteha ha the slow runner video is so funny! i've never broken up with a running partner. I don't know if I have the guts to!
ReplyDeleteHillarious videos! Especially the break up one.
ReplyDeleteFunny! I've never broken up with a runner but we have slowly drifted adjust before. :)
ReplyDeleteBreaking up is hardI used to worry a lot about slowing running partners down now I don't :)
ReplyDeleteI've broken up with myself, I was the slow running partner, now I am working on speed!

ReplyDeleteAwesome videos
ReplyDeleteI love the videos. So great.
ReplyDeleteI've never had to break up with a running partner. I just plan my fast runs with my fast friends and my recovery runs with my slower friends :) Great videos!
ReplyDeleteSounds like my HOka OneOne running shoes! :)
ReplyDeleteLol, these are cute! Never had to break up with a running partner. Kimberly S
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteNever broke up with a running partner cuz I don't have one. :) videos are great though.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure my running partners have broken up with me :(
ReplyDeleteThe project Emotion shoes sound interesting. I'd like to give them a try. It was funny how the beginning of the first video was all serious at first then totally switched gears right in the middle.
ReplyDeleteI watched the first video and thought the design/shape of the sole was interesting since I'm always over thinking my stride and strike.
ReplyDeleteHaha the break up video was funny. I just adjust when I run with others based on the type of run I'm going on that day.
ReplyDeleteLove the videos! My boyfriend is way less active than me, but I haven't dumped him...yet :)
ReplyDeleteHaha these are great! Fear of being the dumpee = why I run alone! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the videos are kind of funny, but it's a "newish" way to get the information out. And I do like the look of the shoe and what I'm hearing about it.
ReplyDeleteVery funny! Love the peanut butter on the chin to raise the dog's blood sugar, lol.
ReplyDeleteHaha, my dog has never been able to keep up with me on a run, he's more of a rolling around in the grass and snuggle on the couch with me dog!
ReplyDeletei run alone - i feel discouraged when somebody runs faster and not not challenged when they run slower. i'm not sure if i'd be the 'breaker' or the 'breakee'

Training for my first marathon. I'll take whatever help I can get :)
ReplyDeleteWatched the first video and it made me want to go out and get a pair. They sound very nice.
